CANADIAN LIBERALS ARE FAILING NATO

Canadian Liberals claim it will take up to six years to fulfil our obligation as a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to bring our defence spending up to two per cent of our Gross National Product. During the Second World War Canada was mobilized and growing in strength within 2 years of the declaration of war with the construction of ships, aircraft, guns, motorized vehicles, and training airfields well underway or nearing completion. In less than the Canadian Liberal Party’s 6-year target, the Second World War was started, fought, and ended.

Since the term of our wartime Liberal leader William Lyon Mackenzie King, the Liberals have allowed our military strength to diminish. Even during the war Liberals such as Pierre Elliott Trudeau avoided overseas military service by remaining in Military College so they would not have to risk being killed or wounded in conflict. Poor babies. Even Pierre’s three useless sons (in terms of defending Canada) have avoided military service. It appears that nearly all current Liberal members are cut from the same cloth.
