Ant-Communists Are Welcome

Why the uproar because Yaroslav Hunka was applauded in the House of Commons as a war hero? Ten million of his countrymen were starved and murdered by the Communists and their Marxist masters in the Holodomor or Ukrainian famine, so why is it surprising that he supported any organisation that opposed the perpetrators of that genocide?

Given the same situation, if any group had murdered millions of my ethnic group I would have done exactly the same as Mr. Hunka, as nothing the National Socialists did to his Ukrainian brethren was anything as horrendous as what the Communists did.

At the end of the Second World War those who declared themselves as Anti-Communists were welcomed to our shores by the Canadian Government and no one asked in what capacity they fought Communism. Now that Communism has been virtually eliminated from Europe, Marxist sympathisers are crawling out of their holes and denouncing former German and their allied units that fought the Communists.  And remember, not all Germans and their allies were Nazis; that required membership in the National Socialist German Workers Party and Mr. Hunka would not have been qualified for membership. He merely served in a Nazi unit that battled those who had murdered millions of his people, just as any patriot would have done.

Canadians, give your head a shake.
