The Canadian Press reported that former Canadian Governor General Michael Jean says wealthy countries must admit mistakes they’ve made in Haiti and pressure that nation’s elite to find a path out of an ongoing humanitarian crisis.
A few words about Haiti:
Haiti once had a promising future. Before 1879 as a French colony under European rule , Santa Domingo (Haiti) was as rich or richer in productivity than all the 13 American Colonies combined. It was considered the “crown jewel” pf the French colonial system. Populated by 40,000 whites, 27,000 freed Mulattoes, 450,000 Black slaves, and with a bountiful climate and productive soil, it provided all of France and half of Europe with sugar, coffee, and cotton. But in 1791, the French government issued a decree ordering Haiti to give the vote to the Mulattoes and soon after another ordering freedom for all the slaves. This resulted in a bloody civil war in 1804 in which the majority of the European population (mostly French) were massacred on the streets and in places outside the cities. Combined with the killings, plundering and rape of white women also occurred, with women and children generally killed last or forced into marriages with Blacks under threat of death. After the Massacre, Haiti remained part of Santa Domingo until 1844 when it became a separate “republic” or Black dictatorship. Between 1844 and 1915 only one Haitian “president” completed his term in office, during which a United States military occupation was needed to restore order that lasted to 1934, followed by 12 years of rule by a Mulatto elite. In 1946 the Black military resumed control followed by 29 years of wholesale corruption and political murder under the Duvaliers and the Tonton Macoutes. Since then there have been a number of so-called democratically elected governments plagued by Black incompetence, corruption, and political coups that have left the Republic of Haiti the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, with the lowest life expectancy, lowest per capita GNP, lowest level of political stability, and highest level of illiteracy.
Don’t take my word for this; it is all available in greater, more gruesome detail in history books and on Wikipedia. Why wasn’t I, and probably you, taught some of this in school ? Hmm, I wonder.
So why does this former Governor General who has fed generously at the Canadian trough believe that countries such as Canada need to take responsibility for the problems that these murderous, corrupt, black rapists and their progeny brought upon themselves? It’s in their genetic makeup to behave that way, as they have demonstrated for over two centuries. Perhaps she doesn’t realise that the only reason she was appointed to the exaulted position of Governor General by the Liberal Party was to attract black voters and as a sop to the Woke anti-Europeans. She wants the vast majority of Canadian taxpayers (who happen to be of European descent) to fund her racial group, a group that has done nothing, ever, for Canada. She thus shows her true colours that are definitely not in the interests of Canada, so perhaps she should go back to the country where she originated and leave Canada to the patriots who have fought, conquered, financed, and developed a European society for European people on this continent.
